  • Technology: Friend or Foe? - Ashley Fisher

    Hear me out - I might be able to take a wild guess at what your daily life looks like: Wake up. Social Media. Phone. Laptop. Social Media. Laptop. Phone. Social Media. Netflix. Social Media. Sleep. At least that’s what mine used to look like.

    We live in a unique and roaring age of online connection and dependence on technology for work, school, and basic life tasks. Think about it, nearly everyone you know has a smartphone!

    Have you ever thought about how you relate to your phone on a daily basis? Do you ever wonder what it could look like to have a better relationship with technology? What does following Jesus have to do with technology usage?

    Join me (Ashley) as we ask these questions and explore what it would look like to glorify Christ in this technology-saturated age.

    Ashley has worked for The Navigators for four years - starting out at SDSU and now at UW-Madison. She is especially passionate about meeting 1-2-1 with college students to help them know Christ and make Him known. Ashley loves animals (especially capybaras), music, playing tennis with friends, and enjoying God’s creation with a good bike ride.

  • Biblical Manhood:  Becoming A Man Of The Kingdom - Jason Robinson

    Who am I as a man, and what am I supposed to do? These are two of the biggest questions screaming at us to be answered. Now is the time to learn the answers to these questions.  You are becoming a man; the question is, what kind of man will you be?  How can you move towards the identity and life God has planned for you?

    Culture is trying to define what God has already defined. Join us for a biblical/practical look and discussion on what God says about becoming His man!

  • Dating with Discernment - Ryan Pott and Beckie Wiegel

    This is not your normal sexual purity talk or accountability talk. This is a laid-back and humorous attempt to add some serious discernment to your search for a spouse.

    This workshop is a smoothie where we will add in together: A scoop of biblical wisdom from the book of Proverbs, a dash of Song of Solomon, some lived experience/testimonies of both successes and failures from Ryan and Beckie, and also some deconstruction of what is and isn’t working in the “American Christian Dating scene”—and mix in some Q&A and also some crunchy practical solutions, and WHALLA—out comes a great smoothie, hopefully one that you can take in slowly, avoid the brain freeze, and help you in your hunt for God’s best.

    Beckie Wiegel helps with staff training at UW Madison. She is wife to Jeff and mom of three adopted kiddos. She loves non-toxic decaf coffee and powerlifting, not at the same time.

    Ryan Pott is married with two kids, and after a long tenure in church ministry to “the youths” is now enjoying doing collegiate ministry in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. He likes to laugh, dig deep into the Word, and Ryan has some experience helping a few young adults with pre-marital….stuff…. Yay God.

    These days it feels like the most difficult form of evangelism is sharing Christ with the people we regularly see! Yet Acts says that God has placed each person in specific times and places SO THAT He won't be far from anyone. One of the ways this is true is believers being in close proximity to non-believers. So how does a Christian go about having the vision, tools, faith, and courage to evangelistically move toward roommates, classmates, friends, & family? Join Braxton and Brian to hear some ideas!

    Trevor serves as the director of the Upper Midwest Region of The Navigators. His wife, Cassie, works alongside him in staff care and development. They live with their four amazing kids in a northwest suburb of the Twin Cities. Trevor and Cassie have dedicated their lives to pointing students to Jesus and raising up generations of disciple-makers; first in Europe, then in Minnesota, and now in the Upper Midwest.​

THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND CONSENT TO MEDICAL CARE AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”) INCLUDES A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER OF CLAIMS. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

The Navigators, a Colorado nonprofit religious corporation, sponsors and hosts events, programs, and other activities (the “Activities”) to encourage spiritual growth and fellowship. By signing, you agree not to hold The Navigators responsible for injuries or issues that might happen during your participation in their events or activities. You also give them permission to seek medical care for you if needed.

Activities and Assumption of Risk: The Navigators offers many activities—like classes, retreats, conferences and sports—both on its property and through its ministry programs. Any Navigator activity you join, whether on-site or off-site, supervised or not, is covered by this agreement. You acknowledge that your participation comes with inherent risk (like injury, illness, loss, or even death). and you assume these risks of participating.
Release of Liability and Indemnification of Claims: As a result of your participation, you—and your family or legal representatives—agree not to hold The Navigators or its team responsible for any injuries, illnesses, property damage, or other losses. You accept all risks and give up any claims related to your participation.
Medical Consent: If you are injured or become ill and are unable to consent to treatment, you agree that The Navigators can request emergency medical care on your behalf. You are responsible for all costs of medical treatment that may arise.
Illness: By signing, you understand and agree that you might be exposed to an illness (like COVID-19) while attending a Navigators event. The Navigators are following all safety guidelines from the government and the CDC (Center for Disease Control), but they cannot completely remove the risk of getting sick. You accept this risk and understand that even with good hygiene and legal compliance, there is no guarantee that illness will not spread.
Miscellaneous: In the event that any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid for any reason, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of any of the other provisions, which other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by and construed under the laws of Colorado, without reference to its Conflicts of Laws provisions. Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or claim of breach hereof shall be brought exclusively in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado.
Dispute Resolution: If there is a disagreement related to this Agreement, both sides agree to try to resolve it through respectful, good-faith discussions based on Biblical principles. If those discussions do not prove successful, the dispute will be handled through Christian mediation and, if needed, legally binding arbitration—following the Rules of Procedure for Christian Conciliation from the Institute for Christian Conciliation. Any final decision will be made official in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Both sides agree not to sue each other in court, except to enforce the outcome of the arbitration.
By signing below, you signify you have read this Agreement and agree with all contents of this Agreement. You further agree that the scope of this Release is not limited to the present and will continue throughout the course of your involvement with The Navigators. You affirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older and you are competent legally and otherwise to enter into this Agreement.

IF I INDICATE, “I AGREE” BELOW, I hereby irrevocably give The Navigators the right and unrestricted permission to edit at its sole discretion, copyright and/or publish, reproduce or otherwise use my name, image, likeness, voice, biographical information, and digital recordings made by me, or of me, for any purpose whatsoever, without compensation, including without limitation to publicize and/or promote The Navigators ministry worldwide in photographs, printed literature, video recordings, sound recordings, websites, social media, digital, and any other medium that now exists or may exist in the future. I waive any right to receive notification or approval rights of the finished product; and I acknowledge that The Navigators owns the finished product and all rights to it.

IF I INDICATE, “I AGREE” BELOW, I hereby agree to release, defend, and hold harmless The Navigators and its agents or employees, including any firm publishing and/or distributing the finished product in whole or in part, whether on paper, via electronic media, or on websites, from any claim, damages, or liability arising from or related to the use of audio, photographs/video, including but not limited to any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form, either intentionally or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in taking, processing, reduction, or production of the finished product, its publication, or distribution.

IF I INDICATE, “I AGREE” BELOW, I acknowledge and agree that I will not receive any compensation for the distribution of my appearance or performance through The Navigators. I understand that there is no time limit on the validity of this Release, nor is there any geographic limitation on the permission granted.

I am 18 years of age or older and have read this release before signing below, fully understanding the contents, meaning, and impact of this release. I understand that I am free to address any specific questions regarding this release by submitting those questions in writing prior to signing, and I agree that my failure to do so will be interpreted as a free and knowledgeable acceptance of the terms of this release.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

If you cancel by October 1, 2026, you will receive a full refund. You will receive a partial refund on or after October 2, 2026, unless the cancellation is due to a major medical issue. These fees help offset the expenses already incurred in anticipation of your attendance. Refund payments will be made using the same payment method used.
